Back to (Pant) Basics
March is that breezy in-between time. We switch our clocks, we swap a season and we’re caught between teasing temperatures of warm and cold.
The easy solution to Fahrenheit fluctuation and closets that may still house a winter wardrobe is pants. Pants of every length and cut are huge this spring and can make you long and leggy. From skinny, tapered and cropped to lounge-pajama loose, trousers are all about being sensible, and getting down to basics, perhaps the most important trend right now in every respect. They keep you toasty and work seamlessly with a range of classic separates from a button-down white shirt to those new long and lean boyfriend cardigans.
Take note from our new First Lady when it comes to accessorizing a pant look. Flats, a timeless silver bracelet watch, a brooch or a fantastic belt is all you need to make this look go a long way.
